For this week’s Watch This: Movie of the Week, I’m encouraging all my fellow creatives to watch the movie Collateral Beauty starring Will Smith.

This is a great movie!

In a post earlier this week, I talked about the power of literary abstraction to deal with complex emotions. In the movie, Will Smith’s character is grieving the loss of his family and in the midst of his emotional turmoil, he writes letters to 3 abstractions: Love, Time, and Death.
