In today’s quote of the day, I share Martin Luther King Jr’s inspiring quote about the importance of getting started. In most cases, showing up is 80% of the battle. In showing up, we don’t have to have it all figured out, we just need the courage to take the very next step.

As someone who struggles with the paralysis of over-analysis, it’s vital that I remind myself frequently that I don’t have to account for every fear or anxious thought I have about a given task before I move forward.
Regardless of what it is that we’re attempting to accomplish, it’s possible to plan, strategize, and tease out the details of every possible barrier we may face in trying to accomplish our goal that we talk ourselves out of even trying.
It’s in these moments that we have to remind ourselves that we don’t need to be able to have a clear picture of the end in mind in order to take the very next step.
Whether, you’re a stay at home mom wanting to start a podcast, a mechanic that wants to turn your side-jobs into a small business, or you’re a person stuck in a toxic relationship because you’re too afraid to be alone, you don’t have to overwhelm yourself with every detail; you just need to muster up the courage to take the very next step.
