“Our culture made a virtue of living only as extroverts. We discouraged the inner journey, the quest for a center. So we lost our center and have to find it again.”
-Anaïs Nin
The art of searching within or becoming more self-aware has been hijacked by secular culture and religious disciplines. As a facit of spirituality, the foundation of all enlightenment is built upon becoming more aware and conscious of who you are and who you’re meant to be.
Spending time in a state of conscious and deliberate introversion is vital to any spiritual practice, because without a greater measure of self-awareness, spiritual development remains mysterious and elusive.
Usually introversion is treated as a social posture or disposition. This is a very limited and short-sighted view of the concept, because as a spiritual practice, the search within is a necessary ingredient of spiritual evolution.
Returning to your center is a journey back home. The means to get back to your source and discover the true essence of your being. The path that allows you to overcome social imprinting and bring forth the REAL you.
The Breath of Life
The quickest and most effective way to start this journey is to (at any moment) become conscious of your breathing. Breathing is a return to center because it is a function of our bodies that naturally occurs subconciously and can be controlled consciously, as well.
When we close our eyes, redirect our conscious awareness to our breathing, and clear our minds, we’re returning to our center/source. We’re making a conscious effort to close our mental programs and focus on the native intelligence emanating from the quantum field (God) and keeping us alive.
God Awareness is Self-Awareness
Anytime we’re getting closer to God (source) we’re also becoming more aware of the true essence of our being. Living forth from the truest sense of our self is where the “magic” happens. These intentional and transcendental experiences are the real purpose of introversion.
In becoming more aware of source consciousness, we become more self-aware. Rather than being a self-centered and egotistical pursuit, this is where our ego is desolved, so we can fellowship with God in greater measure. In our fellowship with God, we experience divine unity that transcends self and becomes the bonding agent between us, everything, and everyone else.
Conscious Breathing is Pure Being
In your breathing you find your being, because your breath is a receptacle to receive God. Notice, God breathed the breath of life into man and he became a living being (Genesis 2:7). Breathing is the conduit between humanity and their spark of divinity. Breathing is a means to winnow the flames of divinity.
Speaking requires breathing so the creative power of the words that roll off our lips emanates from the breath that carries them forth. This is why life and death are contained in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).

Creation is Natural: Don’t Suck At It!
It has been said that, “Every thought is a prayer and every word a spell.” This is to say that we’re all creating, because life, in, and of, itself, is a process of creation and recreation. The question isn’t whether we’re creating or not, but whether we’re good at it. In this regard, creation is…
Rapid Manifestation Acceleration: Focus on Inducing States, Not Acquiring Stuff
When it comes to speeding up our manifestation process, it’s extremely liberating to know that we can eat the “carrot” now without EVER having to chase it, in the first place. Many of us, when we first set out to begin manifesting our desires, we make the mistake of focusing on what “carrots” we want…
3 Levels of Awareness: Understanding This About Others Changes Everything!
To a large degree, our emotional intelligence grows in lock-step with our ability to properly see situations and circumstances through the lens of perception. Perception is awareness but it isn’t complete awareness. Our individual perceptions are merely an angle of awareness, but those perceptions don’t give us the full picture. When it comes to accurately…
