QOTD #25: Emotions Don’t Die, They’re Buried

For today’s Quote of the Day, we will contemplate a quote from Austrian neurologist and psycho-analyst, Sigmund Freud about the nature of dormant emotions.

“Unexpressed emotions will never die. They are buried alive and will come forth later in uglier ways.”

~ Sigmund Freud

In a previous post, I talked about how emotions cannot be destroyed, but must be transformed. This is the heart of emotional alchemy. This is why I use/teach people how to use energy transference to deal with toxic emotions and unresolved trauma.

If we don’t find a way to deal with the things that have wounded us, we will walk through life bleeding on those who didn’t hurt us.

Carrying around emotional baggage is a laborous task. And the dormant emotions are progressive in nature, because they accumulate over time.

Share with me in the comments below how you’ve dealt with toxic emotions and helped process unresolved trauma. If you like this kind of content, make sure to subscribel/follow to receive more content direct to your inbox.
