Daniel Fortune

Husband, Dad of 5, Army combat veteran, writer, public speaker, marketing consultant, and mental health advocate.

The Manic, the Marketer, the Mystic…

As an U.S. Army combat veteran that has struggled with PTSD and bipolar disorder and has been suicidal multiple times, I’ve spent the last five years focusing on veteran mental health advocacy.

I’m currently writing my forthcoming book, Minding My Own Madness: A Mental Health Memoir Documenting How One Army Veteran Lost His Mind and Found A New One (working title).

Upon leaving the Army in 2010, I went back to school to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing.

After completing my degree in 2016, I worked for a couple years as a freelancer in the social media marketing space.

During that time, I also helped independent musicians/artists as a branding consultant.

Since 2018, I’ve served as a marketing consultant for many small businesses, marketing agencies, and non-profits.

On top of my efforts as a marketing consultant, I’m a writer who enjoys writing about a variety of interests, am a sought after public speaker, and a full-time family man.

I currently reside in California with my wife Karen, and three (younger) kids: Landon, DJ, and Mackenzie.

Our oldest son, Daryn currently serves in the Army and is stationed with his wife in Alaska.

Our daughter Jordan currently lives with her fiance and their two dogs; and is looking forward to getting married/starting a family.

I look forward to hearing from you!
